This week's "Man Crush" is one of my favorite entertainers of all time, Mr. Cabell "Cab" Calloway.

You know, I realized something over the weekend: Cab Calloway's vocal ability is quite underrated--at least from my perspective. We know that he scats, we know that he dances--but do we ever really listen to him sing? He had a pretty strong voice!
(Listen to "Afternoon Moon" and (what's become a personal favorite) the last note (3:08) of "We the Cats Shall Hep You"--specifically!)
Not only was Mr. Calloway a great entertainer, but he was also quite handsome (*does multiple eyebrow raises*). Of course, it is for that reason (and aforementioned praise of his talent) that he was chosen as this week's man crush.
