Days Like These (Personal)

The sky is a gorgeous blue today and as a matter of fact, the clouds in the picture above have since moved and made way for a clear view outside of my dorm room window.

It's not particularly warm outside, but the sun is still shining bright. The Norfolk wind blows through trees--a nuisance to those outside, but a peaceful and relaxing sound to those inside. 

It's days like these that relax me so. They take me to a reflective place. They make me think of my great-grandmothers who have passed on. They make me think about my family in the county/country; make me think of my ancestors. Days like these also make me miss my childhood. 

I hope everyone has had a lovely week so far. Take some time out to relax and look at the world around you--let Mother Nature in, reflect on the history that surrounds you.
