Almost a week ago, Amari reviewed the newly released film, Fruitvale Station. I originally wanted to feature this review last week, but in light of last weekend's events (Zimmerman verdict), I changed my mind--more so for personal reasons--I found last weekend to be completely draining and didn't want to read or discuss ANYTHING dealing with racial violence in this country.
However, it is still important that people know about this film. If you haven't seen Fruitvale Station, please go see it, or at least continue spreading the word about it.
